I’ve been biting my virtual tongue for several months regarding the shut down of Dark and Light’s billing, chronicled here, here and here. Since this question has come up in a sales process recently I feel obligated to respond.
We terminated our agreement with Farlan Entertainment because of lack of payment. They were 6 months overdue AND were not responding to communications or offers to keep the service up. After we shut them down, they tried to “bill” themselves and dorked it causing all sorts of issues Aria would have prevented.
For a long while they were a great customer: paid on time, interesting offering and fun. Their implementation is still a great example of how a “flat world” on-demand billing system can be a huge differentiator
